Privacy policy
This policy explains what Tarka Tales collects, which third parties are involved, and what you can do about it.
Email subscriptions
Newsletter signup is not currently offered on the website. If you previously subscribed, your address may be held by Klaviyo, our email service provider. You can use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact us to request removal. We do not sell email addresses.
Contacting us
If you email us directly, your message reaches us through your own email provider and we keep it only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are read and which are useful. Where it is enabled, GA4 sets cookies and collects page views, referrers and general device and browser information. We use it in aggregate and do not use it to build advertising profiles. You can opt out with a browser-based Google Analytics opt-out tool or by blocking cookies.
Campaign attribution
If you arrive via a marketing link containing campaign parameters, we store the first and most recent campaign reference in your browser localStorage. These references include the landing page, referrer and time of the visit. You can clear them through your browser storage. They do not include your name or email address.
Saved recipes
Recipes you save are stored in your browser localStorage on your own device. They are never transmitted to our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes them permanently.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com), and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Third-party vendors may also use cookies; you can opt out of many of them at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s certified consent message before ad or analytics cookies are set, and can change their choice at any time from the privacy link it provides.
Your rights and choices
You may clear saved recipes and campaign attribution at any time through your browser storage. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email. To ask what we hold about you, request correction, or ask us to delete your signup, email contactus@aishayy.com and we will action it.
Children
This site is a food publication intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the date below.
