Mistakes happen. When they do, we fix them promptly and in the open.
What counts as an error
Factual errors about history, language, places or customs; recipe errors such as a missing ingredient, a quantity that does not match the method or a step that does not work as described; and descriptions that misrepresent a regional or cultural practice.
How to report one
Email contactus@aishayy.com with the page address and a short description of the problem. For a recipe, it helps to say which step went wrong and what you saw. For a factual point, a link to a source is very welcome.
What happens next
We check the report against our sources and the recipe itself. If it is an error, the page is corrected. Significant corrections to a story are noted at the end of the piece with the date of the change; small fixes such as typos are made without a note.
Differences of opinion
Many Pakistani dishes are made differently in different homes. A different family method is not an error, but we are always glad to hear about it and may add it as a variation.
